Griffen advises individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning, wealth transfer, and succession strategies designed to help clients protect their assets and plan for the future with confidence. His practice focuses on developing thoughtful, tax-efficient plans that integrate estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and income tax considerations. He takes a practical, hands-on approach and enjoys working closely with clients, staying accessible and responsive throughout the process to ensure each plan is both technically sound and aligned with the client’s long-term goals.

Griffen earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Florida Law Review and as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his work in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, representing clients in matters before the Internal Revenue Service.

Outside of his practice, Griffen enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active through sports, including golf, tennis, pickleball, flag football, and soccer.
